River Strand in Bradenton : Homes for Sale with Golf & Country Club

The success of master-planned communities such as Lakewood Ranch and Palmer Ranch in Southwest Florida has convinced developers that this is an adequate course of action to continue pursuing in the region.  To this effect, prestigious home builder Lennar chose the eastern portion of Bradenton to develop Heritage Harbor, a master-planned community where quality of life is the most important aspect of development.

Heritage Harbor is home to the River Strand Golf & Country Club, a resort-style gated community where convenience and luxury come together to deliver a very pleasant residential experience.  In terms of architecture, this elegant neighborhood is a departure from the Mediterranean revival style that has become so predominant in Southwest Florida; Lennar has chosen a more traditional Tuscan design for River Strand, and it looks amazing at River Strand.

House hunters will find a diversity of floor plans at River Strand.  The real estate options range from terrace condominiums to cozy golf villas and from coach homes to single-family residences.  Development of River Strand has been taking place since 2008, but many of the homes were completed in the last two years.

As of the summer of 2015, the most popular floor plans were the single-family and coach homes with views of the golf course or of the large lake, and the price points are very attractive; a four-bedroom home with three full bathrooms on 1,904 square feet of interior can be found listed under $375K.  Three-bedroom models are priced even more invitingly.

Country club membership is the highlight of life at River Strand.  The 27-hole course takes players through nature preserves and creeks that flow out into the Manatee River.  There are also tennis courts, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a very attractive clubhouse to enjoy.  Location is a very attractive factor of River Strand; although it seems secluded, it is less than 20 minutes away from Downtown Bradenton and the beaches of Manatee County.
