Riverview Landings in Bradenton is one of the most interesting neighborhoods in Manatee County. This historical subdivision is located on the banks of the Manatee River, right next to the De Soto National Memorial. Some historians believe that Spanish explorer and conqueror Hernando De Soto may have landed at the spot where the 49 homes that make up Riverview Landings are located nowadays, but this cannot be confirmed.
