Of all the residential communities that make up the Palmer Ranch master-planned development in Sarasota, The Hamptons is one of the most attractive in terms of aesthetics.  The Hamptons on Palmer Ranch neighborhood is located between the north end of the Country Club of Sarasota and I-75; this is a very quiet and discreet suburban enclave that features three sections: North, South and West.

House hunters looking for spacious homes should begin their search in the North Hamptons.  A grand estate at the North Hamptons typically consists of three to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and more than 2,600 square feet of interior space.  Lot sizes in this neighborhood vary from 7,000 to 9,400 square feet, and all homes have private swimming pools.

The South Hamptons section is similar to the northern section, but residents enjoy greater levels of exterior maintenance and thus are subject to higher homeowners’ association fees.  Residents of the West Hamptons live in cozier floor plans; some of them feature two bedrooms built on 1,763 square feet of air-conditioned space.  Depending on the neighborhood section and the desired level of maintenance, house hunters can expect prices between $350K and $500K.

The West Hamptons subdivision is an upscale gated community with 24-hour security and comprehensive maintenance.  Homeowners at the West Hamptons tend to be retirees and seasonal residents who are absent for weeks at a time.

In addition to private swimming pools, The Hamptons also features a community pool for the enjoyment of all residents.  The ideal complement to the lifestyle in The Hamptons would be a membership at the nearby Country Club of Sarasota, a haven for golf and tennis players.  This neighborhood is not far from the Clark Road commercial district, where residents can find shops, restaurants, pubs, and more.
