Atlanta-based private home builder Ashton Woods is increasing its footprint in the growing Southwest Florida real estate market. Asthon Woods recently announced its intention to build 91 homes at its new Whitaker Park residential development near Fruitville in Sarasota; this announcement followed its late 2012 acquisition of nearly 100 home sites at the placid Rosedale Golf and Country Club in East Bradenton. The builder is once again making headlines in Bradenton, and will begin building 23 luxury homes in Palma Vista.
