Home builder Lee Wetherington is well-known in Southwest Florida for its commitment to quality and its elegant floor plans.  After developing prestigious communities such as The Founders Club in Sarasota and Haddington near Bradenton, Lee Wetherington chose a more accessible and suburban project in Osprey.

The home sites are also pretty generous in terms of space; most of them are greater than 6,600 square feet.

The Lee Wetherington floor plans at Willowbend are based on the Spanish Mediterranean style.  House hunters can find very attractive features in these homes; for example, all floor plans have high-end appliances, gourmet kitchens with cabinets made of fine cherry wood.  Many of the homes are lakefront properties, the rest have nature views.  The landscaping at Willowbend is one of the most meticulous in Southwest Florida, and it conforms to state guidelines that promote planting of native plant species for water conservation purposes.

The amenities at Willowbend include basketball and tennis courts, a heated swimming pool, an exercise room, a playground, and expansive green areas. Willowbend is perfect for nature lovers; aside from Oscar Scherer State Park, which is located next door to the neighborhood, residents also live very close to the beaches at Casey Key.  In terms of shopping and entertainment, Willowbend is just five minutes away from a commercial district located along the Tamiami Trail.
