Englewood Isles is located about two miles south of the section of Tamiami Trail that turns east towards the Florida Everglades. This is a very quiet part of town surrounded by lush and mature greenery; there are six sections containing more than 500 housing units, including condos, villas and single-family residences. This community was initially developed in the early 1970s, which means that you can still find Florida ranch-style homes with lots of interior space. It is not unusual to find a two-bedroom home with two full bathrooms and more than 1,900 square feet of living space, and these are properties priced under $300K in late 2018.
With five bodies of water around Englewood Isles, it is easy to find waterfront properties. The most coveted listings are built alongside canals that connect to the Intracoastal Waterway; many of them have private docking space and boat lifts while others have nice wooden piers for fishing. For even more shopping, the Venice Village Shoppes are about five minutes away, next to the Venice East Golf Course. The idyllic beaches of Manasota Key are also five minutes away, and the more pristine Blind Pass Beach and Duisberg Trail park are just a couple of miles south.
