As can be imagined, the white sandy beaches of Longboat Key are the main amenity of Pelican Harbour. If you live on the west side of the island, the beach is just a few steps away. The rest of the amenities, which are on the eastern side of the community, include a heated swimming pool, a fishing pier, kayak launch, tennis courts, and a clubhouse. Boats up to 28 feet can be privately docked for the lowest monthly fees in all of Sarasota County.

Living in Pelican Harbour means that you do not have to venture off the island for shopping. The Greenwise Publix supermarket at the Bay Isles Plaza is just five minutes away, and this is where you can also find a bank, post office, drugstore, bars, restaurants, and cafes.
