Rapalo Venice is a small neighborhood of about 109 spacious homes. D.R. Horton chose floor plans from its Express Homes catalog for Rapalo; these are spacious properties with a Mediterranean look and modern interiors that offer between 1,542 and 1,828 square feet under air conditioning. Many of these three-bedroom homes were completed in 2018 and they are priced very reasonably considering the prestige of D.R. Horton and its commitment to quality construction.

In late 2024, pricing at Rapalo starts at $385K for a three-bedroom property sitting on a 7,841 square feet lot. The Harwich model is the most affordable; it features a smart floor plan that puts the kitchen, family room and bathrooms in between the bedrooms for maximum privacy. The largest floor plan is the Cali, a property that offers 1,828 square feet of interior plus a den that can be easily transformed into a home office or a fourth bedroom for large families or overnight guests. Residents of Rapalo enjoy their own resort-style swimming pool plus a comfortable clubhouse that can be reserved for parties and social gatherings. The nearby beaches of Manasota Key are considered to be the most family-friendly in Sarasota County. Another attraction that is very close to Rapalo is Lemon Bay Park, a wooded sanctuary for native and migratory birds; this park offers very scenic picnic spots as well as a kayak launch.

In terms of shopping, dining and entertainment, Rapalo is not far from the Venice Shopping Center and the downtown district, which is filled with pubs, restaurants, cafés, and tourism attractions.
