The Siesta Key homes for sale are beautiful, luxurious and bring true meaning to the phrase “Living in Paradise”. If you are in the market for a Siesta Key home you are probably a Siesta Key veteran and know how fabulous the area is. I would love to help you with your home search and imagine you are quite familiar with the activities, dining and events that I illustrate below.
Siesta Key has ongoing activities, events and incredible dining for all. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, Siesta Key offers plenty of opportunities. Kayaking, boating, hiking and biking are just a few. You’ll find charters available whether you want to fish or just enjoy a day of boating. Siesta Key has numerous parks where you can spend a relaxing afternoon. If you’re a golfer, you’ll love the many championship courses along the area’s coastline. From Siesta Key, it’s only a short 30 minute drive to some of the area’s finest golfing destinations. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to experience the arts, since nearby Sarasota are home to a number of art galleries, museums and theaters.
You can easily walk to Siesta Key Village, (located at the north end of the island) from the public beach, which offers dining and shopping opportunities. The area’s unique specialty boutiques are fun to visit as well as enticing to the wallet. There are plenty of shops located at the Siesta Key’s south end and you’ll find a multitude of restaurants, most of which offer open-air dining facilities. Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast, a light lunch, or an evening of fine dining, you’ll find just what you’re looking for in Siesta Key. Even the fancier dining establishments have relaxed dress codes, so you won’t need to change out of your sandals before going to dinner. Great choices include the Broken Egg for breakfast or lunch, Café Gardens and the Daiquiri Deck, Captain Curt’s or the Gilligan’s Island Bar and Grill. The Lobster Pot, Blu Smoke Island Grill, Siesta Key Oyster Bar and the Old Salty Dog are other great dining choices. Or, check out the Big Olaf Creamery if you’re in the mood for ice cream.
My husband and I are residents of Lakewood Ranch and love visiting Siesta Key. Anyone who lives in the area would tell you that visiting Siesta Key makes you feel like your on vacation. It’s not only the outdoor activities, but the annual events that draw us to the area. Some of those events would be Valentines Day at the Beach, the Siesta Key Sand Sculpture Contest, Siesta Fiesta, Fireworks over Siesta Key in July, the Volleyball Tournaments and Holiday Light up the Village in November and December.
Living in Lakewood Ranch we have access to all the activities, dining and events of Siesta Key. You can too as I also show homes in Bradenton, Sarasota, Anna Maria, Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton, Venice, Englewood, Lido Key, Longboat Key and Casey Key which are all in proximity to Siesta Key. Of course if you choose to be right in the middle of all the action, I can show you the available Siesta Key homes for sale too.
