As its name suggests, Venetian Falls Venice is a gated neighborhood where home buyers will find attractive Tuscan and Mediterranean architecture plus a few artificial waterfalls. This is a large subdivision consisting of six separate sections, each featuring its own private entrance for the convenience of residents and visitors.
National home builder Centex completed Venetian Falls in 2012; the 700 properties of this community include single-family residences and attached, maintenance-free villas. There is a Caribbean resort vibe to Venetian Falls, and this is what exactly what Centex had in mind. This is a neighborhood that is perfect for active seniors who like plenty of amenities close to home.
The resort-style swimming pool and modern fitness center are just the beginning of the amenities at Venetian Falls. There is a putting green with nine holes plus a couple of bocce ball courts. The activities director runs a tight ship complete with coffee tastings, bingo, book club, Zumba classes, and even trips to Major League Baseball games in Tampa. Moreover, the community has miles of walking and biking trails that run along lakes and across nature preserves.
Needless to say, home values have greatly appreciated in Venetian Falls over the last few years, but they are still very reasonable. A two-bedroom villa with more than 1,400 square feet of living space was listed for less than $300K in late 2024. A home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms built on more than 2,100 square feet of interior was listed for $569K.
